As global energy demand continues to grow and the urgent need for sustainable development in the power and electrical industry, the 32nd International Exhibition for Electronic Power (ELEKTRO) will grandly open in June 2024 at the Central Exhibition Hall in Moscow. This exhibition is one of the largest and most professional power electronics exhibitions in Eastern Europe which held annually. The event is strongly supported by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, and participating in this exhibition has become an important way for Chinese power electronics companies to expand into overseas markets.

Nearly 450 companies from Russia, Belarus, China, India, Kazakhstan, Slovakia, Spain, Tunisia, and Turkey occupy approximately 6,000 square meters of exhibition space, showcasing a variety of products and solutions. Among them, Chinese exhibitors account for about one-third.

Chairman Lin Lie of the group company was invited to visit the exhibition and, together with leaders from the electrical industry and representatives of innovative enterprises from around the world, engaged in discussions about the future of the power industry and the energy sector. He stated that for Kaiyuan Electric to establish a leading position in the industry, it is necessary to actively play the 'three-part development symphony.

"First, seize new opportunities to play the 'march' of business innovation."

At the beginning of the exhibition, Lin Lie and his team visited the high-voltage switchgear exhibition area to engage in discussions with industry professionals, focusing on product technology innovation and advantages in overseas markets. Lin Lie pointed out that power engineering is closely related to people's livelihoods and serves as an important platform for interconnectivity among 'Belt and Road' countries. Chinese power energy enterprises have accumulated rich experience in power equipment manufacturing, project construction, and management and operation. There is a strong demand for electricity in the 'Belt and Road' countries, and there is great potential for cooperation in this field. Chinese private power enterprises should seize the opportunity presented by the 'Belt and Road' International Cooperation Forum to reach a consensus, establish partnerships, and achieve mutual benefits with countries along the route.

"Second, build new platforms to play the 'duet' of open cooperation."

Subsequently, Lin Lie visited the electrical equipment product exhibition area. While observing metering control, measuring equipment, and electrical tools, Lin Lie emphasized that Kaiyuan Electric must actively engage in the endeavor and accelerate the advancement of 'Belt and Road' electricity construction. Domestic products should embark on the 'Electrical Silk Road' to explore overseas markets and find new profit growth points. In particular, Russia is currently making significant efforts to develop its national economy and is intensifying the construction and renovation of water, electricity, and gas infrastructure. Power electronics companies from around the world are optimistic about the Russian market, which also has a certain influence on the Eastern European market, making it one of the key markets for future business development.

It is reported that Kaiyuan Electric actively responds to the national 'dual carbon' goals and the domestic and international 'dual circulation' strategy. While upgrading its business, the company is also intensifying efforts to expand foreign channels. In November last year, it joined an international trade platform and became a member of the European Small and Medium Enterprises Union. By building an international supply chain platform, it has accumulated tens of thousands of consultations and engaged in in-depth communication with over one hundred inquiry clients.

"Third, focus on the new future to play the 'symphony' of sustainable development."

Finally, Lin Lie and his team arrived at the electrical equipment exhibition area, where they observed samples of fuses. He noted that Chinese electric and electrical products have surpassed foreign counterparts in terms of technology and craftsmanship, and that production costs are lower than those abroad, thus possessing strong international market competitiveness. In the face of an increasingly competitive market environment, on one hand, Kaiyuan Electric should enhance its cooperation with the State Grid to better seize market opportunities, respond to market changes, and achieve sustainable development; on the other hand, it should closely collaborate with cutting-edge universities such as Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Wuhan University of Technology to strengthen product innovation, technology innovation, and scientific innovation. Additionally, it should focus on training vocational and technical talent in provincial universities and deepen the integration of industry and education. In today's era of globalization, international cooperation has become an important avenue for rapid enterprise growth. He hopes that this trip to Russia will enhance the competitiveness of the Kaiyuan brand in the international market and establish a broader international cooperation network to jointly create a mutually beneficial and win-win future.
